Today is a reminder to make sure you know which type of ink you are using: dye based or pigment based. Pigment ink is great when you want something permanent and water-resistant. These would include alcohol inks and markers as well as archival ink (as pictured).
Dye based inks are blendable (such as distress inks) and will wash right off a stencil. I love the results, but the purple will always be on my stencil. It's not a big deal. And I can still use it.
I just should have thought about it first. Lesson learned! You can link up at Stacy's Random Tuesday Thoughts here.
