Quick Tip Tuesday

Today's tip is something NOT to do.  Don't compare yourself to other crafters.  Why, you ask?

1.  Crafting is a personal journey, and you should measure your own growth by your standards, not someone else's.  Everyone is on a different path based on any number of factors such as materials and supplies, access to resources, ideas, and motivations.

2.  Comparing yourself to others can stifle your creativity. It can lead to negative self talk which can demotivate you.  Positivity can keep your creativity flowing.

3.  Comparisons can lead to minimizing your own authenticity and unique style.

It's okay to admire other people's work, but comparing can have negative effects on your creativity.  Remember, your creations reflect your personal creative journey.
