Quick Tip Tuesday

 Regardless of what type of craft you do, I would invite you to join a group of like-minded indivuals on Facebook. You can learn a lot from other crafters, and people in groups are usually kind and genuinely want to help each other.

I belong to groups for card-making, sewing, scrapbooking, paper crafts, and sublimation.  You can find groups for crochet, knitting, candle-making, soap-making, glass etching, rock painting, or any number of craft-related topics.  You're sure to learn something, and it is less intimidating than trying to contact a content creator or expert separately. Give it a go!

Quick Tip - Mistakes

 

Today's quick tip is to allow yourself to make mistakes.  For this card, I had to do the sentiment three times. 

Like Goldilocks, the first one was too big, the second too small, and the third just right.  Sometimes I worry about wasting supplies; then, I remind myself it's only paper and a little bit of ink.  Mistakes can often be an opportunity to learn, so allow yourself to make them.
